Position Snapshot <br><br>Department: Supply Chain<br><br>Location: Cairo, Egypt<br><br>Main Purpose of Job <br> To manage the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover with high freshness that takes into account the distribution costs. <br><br>Day in Life: <br><br><br> - Supply planning: Analyze and evaluate the supply plan and net despatch requirements to satisfy <br> - customer needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints (Nestle in the market & distributor model)" <br> - Supply planning: Establish track/ trace file for all active direct local market suppliers (scope outside of IMS Control Tower) and align with Inbound Team in OPC's. <br> - Inventory Management : Balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimise <br> - costs of inventory to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location." <br> - Exception Management: Analyze exceptions, adjust planning results, priotize stock planning to OPC's, alignment with all OPC's on direct supply process. Share with IMPEX on all new coman vendor sites to be included for track/ trace of shipments. <br> - Load planning: Plan and optimize mixed loads taking into account transportation constraints <br> - Establish and periodically review stock policies for Finished Goods with all suppliers (domestic and intermarket) stock level of receiving markets to pro-actively look for solutions in case of deviations. <br> - Analyse and effectively communicate relevant information to respective Stakeholders. Highlighting all supply issues in proper advance. Detailing impacts of proposed actions and related trade offs. Ensuring actions and Supply Plans are realistic and achievable In accordance with the Business Planning process <br> - Challenge Factories to manage lot sizes, cycle times to drive optimum FG inventory and required Freshness level. <br> - Alignment with MENA Transport team on Freight forwarders to be used for all co manufacturing sites based on the agreed inco terms. <br> - Ensures proper Master Data settings (Supply network, triangular table etc) and Event Management related SNP visibility (launches, re-launches, discontinuations, Phase in Phase out) <br><br>Am I a good fit? <br><br><br> - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field <br> - Two or more years of relevant operations experience, in at least one of the following areas: <br> - Preferrably have experience in Factories, Foreign Trade, Import / Export (documentation), IMS Factory Logistics <br> - Other Demand & Supply Planning positions <br> - Helpful to have had exposure in Customer Service <br> <br><br>
