MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating the sustainability activities led by the Workplace Services sustainability team including 3rd party partners who support Unilever in this area. We are looking for someone with a passion for sustainability and driving performance improvement, who has excellent communication and project management skills and an ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and fast moving change. The successful candidate will also need to understand the broader context in which Workplace and Travel Services has an impact and interaction with the wider Unilever business and its sustainability priorities.

JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinate Sustainability reporting processes and systems. This includes:

- Administration of the reporting system, adding new users, liaison with system developers and management user acceptance testing for any new features
- User training and support, data validation
- Coordinate WTS Sustainability Excellence Forum and maintain sustainability toolkit
- Build a network across WTS to understand the different site, regional and functional challenges around sustainability and identify the best strategies to support them.
- Arrange meetings, develop content, work with regional champions to ensure actions are completed
- Develop toolkit content based on new initiatives and business requirements and maintain and update the sharepoint site
- Support regional champions and service delivery managers with roll out of initiatives and sharing of learnings and good practices
- Identify new risks and issues based on current programme status and work with stakeholders to identify mitigation
- Provide sustainability support to the WTS Innovation and Operations team, WTS Travel and Fleet team and WTS Real Estate Team
- Provide support to the Innovation and Operations team, as necessary

Requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any major, preferably Renewable energy/Industrial/Production) or a sustainability related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in similar roles or projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytic skills to evaluate alternative courses of action, and provide fact based solutions/recommendations.
- Project management experience: identifying opportunities, developing a project plan and driving projects to conclusion.
- Strong organizational skills giving the ability to coordinate multiple projects / processes at one time.
