about the role

About the Job
- Accountable for the right-on-time and right-first-time error-free for basic & full configuration for modification/implementations for MPLS and SD-WAN integrated solutions.
- Validate the detailed technical design of the VPN Implementations/Changes.
- Perform provisioning & meshing function for Network Modification and new implementations.
- Perform router configuration, activation and acceptance testing for new implementations with field engineers for the new implementations.
- Manage the scheduling for customer changes and generate Change Guideline for implementation & send the Guideline to all involved entities before the migration.
- Perform router configuration and responsible for all necessary technical tests at time of migrations while providing technical support for Field Service engineers.
- Make all the pre validation before the change window time & post validation after the migration time to check with the customer that his application is running with no problems.
- Specify with the customer and internal requestor the acceptance testing procedures for complex VPN changes.
- Meet the targets set by the management with regards to: customer satisfaction, right on time, first time success rate & productivity.
- Supporting the management of multiple projects.

Job Requirements

Educational background:
- Degree in telecommunication and/or computer sciences engineering field

Professional Experience:
- More than 4 years of experience in networks & telecommunications field and/or in an operational IP environment.
- Cisco CCNA and selected tracks of CCNP R&S/SP is a must. CCIE written is a plus.
- Solid knowledge in the following topics: MPLS, QoS/CoS, Zscaler, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Metro Ethernet, IPSec & xDSL.
- Good knowledge of SD-WAN Cisco Solutions (Viptela), CCNA SD-WAN Certification is a plus.
- Good knowledge of SD-WAN Fortinet Solutions (Fortigate), NSE Fortinet certification is a plus.
- Python programing language is a plus
