About the job

JOB PURPOSE:
The Training Officer has overall responsibility for the supervision of the entire training process, ensuring that the training sessions are performed in accordance with the RDMC Training Plan.

The role will be responsible for identifying staff training and development needs, and for planning, organising, and overseeing implementation of training program.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Performing Training Needs Analysis to identify knowledge gaps.
- Assisting the Training Manager in implementing the training plan and communicating the training calendar to all RDMC
- Ensuring that all aspects related to the preparation, delivery and follow up of the training, are organised in a professional and organised manner.
- Administering program scheduling details, attendance and follow through on implementation.
- Preparing and developing the training programs deliverables.
- Following up with the participants via email and/or phone to answer any questions concerning the pre-work.
- Coordinating the logistics of the training sessions ensuring successful implementation of the programs including: reservations (meeting room, coffee breaks, lunch) when needed
- Establishing a mechanism to monitor the effectiveness of the training.
- Delivering and overseeing the training of individuals or groups of employees
- Supervising and monitoring progress made via training programs.
- Conducting effective induction and orientation sessions.
- Assessing trainers/instructors before, during and after the program
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards on training and development activities and progress.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree level in a relevant field
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Proficient in the English Language

KNOWLEDGE:
- General technical knowledge
- Familiar with different types of Training Management Systems and methodologies
- Assessment and evaluation of training and development activities
- Microsoft Power BI would be an added advantage

EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years' relevant experience in training domain in a multinational company
- Have experience in the change management culture
