DESCRIPTION
MENA Supply Chain Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Executive to assist in the resolution of stakeholder issues related to managing the delivery promises given to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Supply Chain team and to learn the details of FC and Trans planning for the whole of MENA Region.
- An ideal candidate will have a background in operations and excellent data driven problem resolution skills.
- He/she has the ability to pull and analyze data with ease, drive process improvements, standardize processes, and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems.
- This job will require exceptional communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up robust processes to improve customer experience of Amazon/Souq customers
- Support the business growth in constrained environments with Frugal and innovative solutions
- Make the existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing available tools/automation
- Rollout best practices from other geographies/companies to minimize end to end supply chain losses and give the best possible promises to the customer
- Utilize exceptional problem solving and communication skills to influence business, operations and technical audiences
- Program manage and drive decision making across cross functional teams and senior leadership
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidate must be independent and flexible, with solid communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on issues.
- Must have ability to work in cross functional, cross geographical teams and drive decisions.
- Candidate must have basic Supply Chain and Planning knowledge through work experience or coursework.
- Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel and basic programming skills.
- 2-4 Years experience in Supply Chain/Operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate degree in Science or Engineering
