Job Description

Exciting career opportunity in the Finance function, in the capacity of Treasury Manager - Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan ; based in Cairo BU, Egypt.

The incumbent will manage day-to-day activities in treasury functions to meet the financial obligations of the organization. The position demonstrates skills of liquidity management, proficiency in bank account matters, FX management as well as managing the debt structures.

Main Responsibilities:


- Performs treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debt, and capital management. Allocates cash balances, maintains investment records. (Including inter-company loan activity)
- Demonstrates solid FX management understanding and capabilities and a fair knowledge of hedging process.
- Supports Preparation of cash forecasts and partners with other internal stake holders from time to time.
- Familiar with working of the Trade Finance instruments (i.e. BG's, LC's and other documentary credit applications)
- Ensures local policies and procedures meet the global organization's guidelines and they conform to solid internal controls, particularly in credit limits and counter party exposures.
- Demonstrates familiarity over banking regulatory body requirements.
- Works on procurement /source of funds and monitors investments and collections. When applicable.
- Manages, supports and coordinates activities with other virtual internal stake holder staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Works closely with in country controllers, AP/AR teams.
- As a first level manager, Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved strategies, including company sponsored initiatives of Treasury SAP implementation. Works on banking rationalization, along with focus towards one bank footprint.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required


- Bachelor's Degree, MBA (CPA equivalent a plus).
- 6 to 8 years of progressive experience, within Treasury function and relevant Finance department experience will be a plus.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Has worked on Treasury platform(s) and familiar with netting procedures.
- Ease of communication with several multicultural teams across the region (between time zones) and adherence to challenging and demanding timelines.
- Has displayed project and analytical background/experience.
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills.
- Problem solving: Proactive and resourceful in solving problems, offering innovative and practical solutions in dynamic environment.
