Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who specializes in mission critical turnkey solutions. Employing over 750 professionals and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centre’s, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently seeking Mechanical Engineer's to join them on Data Centre Projects in Finland.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Coordinate and oversee the design, specification, and installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, cooling systems, piping, and fire protection to ensure alignment with project requirements and data centre standards.
• Liaise with and manage mechanical subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality, programme, and safety requirements. Review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and ensure work is delivered to specification.
• Ensure all mechanical installations comply with relevant codes, standards (e.g. ASHRAE, CIBSE), and client specifications. Conduct inspections, witness testing, and sign-off QA/QC documentation.
• Monitor mechanical work progress against the overall construction programme, highlighting potential delays and working with the team to mitigate risks and maintain schedule integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions during design, installation, and commissioning phases. Interface with design teams, consultants, and client engineers to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Work closely with electrical, civil, and architectural teams to ensure mechanical systems are fully integrated and clashes are resolved via BIM and coordination meetings.
• Promote and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with mechanical works on site.
• Lead and support mechanical system commissioning activities, FAT/SAT processes, and final handover documentation. Ensure systems are operating as designed and fully documented for client acceptance

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in Mechanical Engineering or similar role working on large projects.
• Data Centre Experience is not essential but advantageous.
• EU Passport is not required for this role but advantageous

Salary:
EUR 6,660 to 7,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
