Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• Managing, designing and improving clinical databases and bio-repository tracking systems
• Extracting and cleaning data sets; designing, conducting, and interpreting basic and advanced statistical analysis
• Preparation of summary reports, charts, tables, and figures; and contributions to publications and presentations of this data

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
• Two or more years of experience with data cleaning and data quality control
• Two or more years of experience in data analyses using a variety of statistical modeling techniques, including linear, logistic and Poisson regression models, mixed effect modeling, and Cox proportional hazard models
• Ability to provide custom-designed reports and graphical presentation of data using STATA, SAS, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficiency in SAS and STATA programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field
• Two years of professional statistical experience
• Familiarity with medical terminology and epidemiology research
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (e.g. EPIC)
• Experience using latent class models and/or machine learning approaches such as random forests, LASSO regression
• Experience managing and analyzing genomic and transcriptomic data
