Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• Track and execute projects assigned by local management and HQ security
• Manage the day to day operations as it pertains to physical security
• Manage a team of guards, and ensure schedules and services are maintained for 24/7 operations
• Manage executive protection detail as necessary for Blizzard and Non-Blizzard VIPs
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, and burglar alarm system
• Responsible for protection of high-value equipment
• Respond to emergency situations on a 24/7 basis, coordinating with local law enforcement, and HQ security as necessary
• Continually evaluate current systems and make recommendations for improvement
• Lead the site security planning and coordinate on-site events and meetings
• Identify potential gaps in physical security and take any necessary corrective action
• Assist in maintaining the building access systems; audit effectiveness of categorization and entry levels
• Travel between offices as needed

Requirements

Requirements:
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• A minimum of 5 years practical work experience in developing, managing, and monitoring physical security programs for corporate headquarters and field locations
• Available to work non-standard hours and overtime as needed in a fast paced environment
• Outstanding project management and organizational capabilities
• Capable of interacting with employees from all levels of the company in a customer service focused style, both effectively and clearly
• Able to work independently with minimal direction, and also with a team
• Training experience; capable of delivering instruction to medium / large size classes
• Previous experience working in an NYC high rise building setting
• Business Continuity or Crisis Management certifications and training
• CPR, First Aid training
• CPP
• Previous law enforcement or military background
