Project Director - Design & Build

Job description / Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Privately owned European Contracting Business that recently established 2 Offices in Germany . They have recently won a large complex design and build framework for a key client in which they are going to deliver projects across Germany. Project locations such as Hanover, Berlin, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Nuremberg & Cologne . They are looking to appoint German speaking individuals that are looking to relocate back to Germany and grow with a business that is forward thinking and will promote from within .

Our client are seen as market leaders within Europe for fast track construction projects within manufacturing , distribution and pharmaceutical with a history for delivering to time, budget and superb quality. Reporting into the Country Manager you will be capable of handling 2-3 projects at anyone time ranging from $50- $100 Million in construction value . This role offers the chance to progress to Operations Manager within a 2 Year period if you have the get up and go to succeed and deliver at the highest level

Requirements

Our client is open to someone that has developed up the ladder from an engineer or trades background . What they want to see is a character capable of handling contracts , procurement , delivery and quality which maximizing profit . You will have a solid career record that shows success and the ability to build strong teams . You will have the communication skills and soft skills to win repeat work and keep the client close to you . After this framework is complete the business see Germany as a market being a solid base for European operations alongside the UK business & America .

Have you delivered to program and budget the following type or projects :

• Manufacturing & Distribution Facilities
• Commercial Buildings
• Processing Plants & Pharmaceutical
• Data Centers

Whether the construction in RC , Steel or Precast you will have the technical overview to see the risk and issues before they arise .You will be expected to take a very much hands on approach to your work leading from the front and demonstrating great commitment . The current management team is highly driven & ambitious and with this exciting business plan its an exciting time to join the group.
