Contracts Manager - Bidding And Estimation (Contractor)

Job description / Role

Require join the corporate office of an international contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Terms & Conditions of contracts for our mechanical oil & gas projects at bidding and award stage. Duties include:

• Assists estimation department in all aspects of contract formation, negotiation and administration.
• Advises on contract interpretation and risks including analyzing client’s proposed terms and conditions.
• Interface between different ccc departments on contractual matters.
• Reviews, advises and drafting of contractual correspondence.
• Attends meeting with clients and participates in all contractual aspects of tendering.
• Identification and highlighting of major contractual issues, determining project contractual strategies, and projecting the same to involved staff.

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar
• 15 + years experience of working on tenders and bids for large scale projects in the Oil & Gas sector
• A proven track record of working at a corporate level within an international contractor
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to write reports and present ideas
