Job description / Role

• Knowledge of Greek Financial Regulations: Thorough understanding of Greece's financial laws, including accounting standards, reporting requirements, and financial compliance.
• Expertise in Greece’s Tax Authority Rules: In-depth knowledge of tax laws, VAT regulations, electronic invoicing, and other tax-related requirements enforced by Greece’s tax authorities.
• Experience with Localized Implementations: Experience in implementing and assessing Oracle EBS in the context of Greek regulations and tax requirements.
• Strong Accounting and Finance Background: Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• CPA or Equivalent Qualification: Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent finance/accounting qualification.
• Experience in Financial Reporting and Compliance: Proven track record in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with both international standards (e.g., IFRS) and Greek-specific requirements.

• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, and collaborate with various teams.
• Project Management Skills: Experience in managing financial system implementations or upgrades, particularly in cross-functional environments.
• Fluency in Greek and English: Proficiency in both languages to effectively interact with local stakeholders and international teams.
