Our client is a dynamic and diverse group operating in the fields of polymer, plastics, paint, automotive, agrochemicals, and fintech businesses. With a strong presence in Guinea Conakry, they are committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to customers across various industries. They are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Techno-Commercial Manager to oversee the entire techno-commercial aspect of their operations in Guinea Conakry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across a diverse portfolio, which includes polymer, plastics, paint, automotive (two-wheelers, three-wheelers, heavy commercial vehicles, tractors), and agrochemicals business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive techno-commercial strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets in all relevant sectors.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities in the polymer, plastics, paint, automotive, agrochemicals, and fintech sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, distributors, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Possess in-depth technical understanding of the product offerings across various industries and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
• Lead the sales team in developing and executing sales plans, managing customer inquiries, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to meet revenue targets.
• Analyse pricing, costing, and profitability metrics to ensure competitive pricing strategies and maximize margins across all product lines.
• Identify potential risks and challenges in the techno-commercial operations and implement appropriate measures to mitigate them effectively.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including production, supply chain, finance, and marketing to streamline processes and optimize business outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in the areas of sales, procurement, and finance.


• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a techno-commercial role, preferably in the polymer, plastics, paint, automotive, agrochemicals, or related industries.
• Proven track record of driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of technical products and their commercial applications, particularly in the automotive and agrochemical sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market dynamics and develop actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
• Fluency in English and French is required. Knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
