Procurement Head

Job description / Role

Our client is a major retail brand in the fashion retail sector. They are a now growing their sourcing operations with a new base in the Far East. They now require a Head of Procurement to manage their clothing procurement and a team of managers.

As Head of Procurement, you will be managing the company’s procurement strategy for fashion apparel and developing the procurement function as well as managing and growing a team. The position reports to board level.

You will be responsible for:
- Developing their clothing procurement function
- Creating and implement the medium and long term strategy
- Advising the Board on procurement related matters
- Developing significant internal relationships to thread procurement into the business

Requirements

- Large retail or fashion brand company background across more than one industry.
- Significant procurement experience within a fast moving business environment
- Ability to interact with leading senior stakeholders within an international environment
- Able to lead, mentor and motivate
