We have a suitable opportunity in the Consumer Products division for the position of Channel Manager – General Trade. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for managing the GT Retail channel. You should have minimum 3 years of experience in Sales/ Planning/ Supply chain. The location of the job will be Mumbai – HO.

Job Description:
• Responsible for delivery of channel AOP & management of budget for specific Trade Marketing activities
• Drive Category development / creation for strategic brands in the GT Retail channel
• Identify opportunities for activating key brands in GT Retail channels. Develop, implement, and evaluate channel activations to contribute towards brand growth
• Lead Retail Loyalty Programs with a Growth & ROI mindset. Liaise with different stakeholders across the value chain to deliver best in class execution at the point of sale. Own the entire process right from Program Design to Retailer Gratification.
• Plan and implement tactical trade activations in direct retail channel
• Leverage technology (in-house and partnerships) to capitalize on evolving trends in GT Retail

Requirements

Key Competencies
• A planning mind-set to understand and implement the science and art of sales planning
• Strong understanding of sales channel dynamics and operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Analytical skills to interpret performance and drive insights
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good understanding of systems and processes

Physical Demands (e.g. % travel):
• Travel will be need based

Education:
• Graduate/MBA
