Chief Operations and Maintenance Expert

Job description / Role

My client is a leading international engineering consultancy who specialise in rail and metro projects and are currently working on the construction of the Mumbai metro. They are looking to recruit a chief operations and maintenance expert for the following duties;

- Monitor and supervise the operation of the metro. supervise the operations, verifying compliance with the operations protocols.
- Review the maintenance plan for the rolling stock, infrastructure and other facilities.
- Verifying that the personnels intervention is appropriate and the correct supply of tools and materials required is available.
- Check that the maintenance plan which contains daily, yearly, weekly and monthly and half yearly activities for all systems and rail and station equipment.
- Prepare the safety plan for trains and for the staff involved in maintenance work.

Requirements

- Candidates should have some form of formal qualification related to engineering and should have a proven background in the operations and maintenance of metros and railway systems.
- Candidates should have experience as a maintenance manager and should have experience of managing and implementing maintenance plans and procedures.
