Role Summary:
Design Lead of Solar Vertical T&D is responsible for the overall management of the company's solar vertical T&D business. This includes developing and executing the business strategy, managing the team, and ensuring the delivery of projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in the solar industry, with 20+ years of experience in all aspects of the business, including project management, technical expertise, and business development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Solar Vertical T&D division.
• Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive advantages to drive business expansion.

Project Management:
• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from design and procurement to construction and commissioning, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Ensure projects meet all technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical leadership, leveraging your extensive knowledge of solar technology and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize project designs for maximum efficiency and sustainability.

Business Development:
• Build and maintain strong industry relationships and networks to identify new business opportunities.
• Lead business development efforts, including client acquisition and project proposal submissions.

Team Leadership:
• Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of professionals, including project managers, engineers, and support staff.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the division.

Financial Management:
• Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring the division operates within established financial parameters.
• Monitor project costs, profitability, and financial performance.

Quality and Safety:
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control and safety protocols across all projects.
• Implement and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars.

Others:
• Develop and execute the company's solar vertical T&D business strategy.
• Manage the team of solar professionals.
• Ensure the delivery of projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest solar technologies and trends.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 20+ years of experience in the solar industry.
• Strong project management skills.
• Technical expertise in solar engineering and design.
• Excellent business development skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
