Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Clients are actively looking for a Head of PM for several High-End Residential projects in India. This will be a client side role working for a large group overseeing civil engineering and interior fit-out projects.

The successful candidate will mainly be responsible for the design, planning, resource allocation and project budgeting all the way through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee project construction or renovation of properties right from blueprints to the completed building.
• Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed. Ensure that construction activities move according to a predetermined schedule.
• Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises.
• Communicate effectively with the contractors and architects responsible for completing various phases of the project.
• Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, quality surveyors and procurement team.
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
• Maintain strict adherence to specification, quality and safety standards.
• Ensure project documents are complete. Identify the elements of project design and construction.
• Budget and cost control.
• Develop and monitor planned preventive maintenance of all properties in group companies.

Requirements

• B.E. (Civil Engineering) / Architect;
• A postgraduate degree in construction management is an added advantage;
• Possess at least 10-15 years of experience in construction projects of big hotels/hospitals/shopping malls/ high-end residential projects/commercial projects, with a focus on high-end interiors;
• Project management experience is a must;
• Good overall knowledge of construction specifically in high-end residences;
• Extensive experience in devising procurement strategies, guiding project team, developing and implementing procurement/contract systems and processes in line with the organisational strategies;
• Good understanding of MEP building systems including BMS;
• Advance knowledge of Facilities Management;
• Competent knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and blueprints;
• IT literate with strong command of Ms Excel and Ms Word;
• Thorough knowledge of Health and Safety standards is essential.

Other:
• Willing to travel extensively across construction sites especially within Delhi NCR.
