Career Opportunity - Lead Engineer - Architecture - Mumbai

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of supporting engineers and designer to delivers the scope of work to defined schedule and quality level.
• Communicate (written and verbal) clearly and concisely, to a broad audience, both internally and externally.
• Responsible for the architectural layout of accommodation platforms as well as the office and workshop sections of process platforms, including providing general architectural input on stairways, access ways, functional rooms etc. that allows an efficient working environment.
• Provide input to overall Basis of design, functional specification and Scope of Work.
• Coordinate relevant part of the design with Company's operations team and other design disciplines.
• Assure that all applicable regulations and codes/standards are followed and incorporated in design and relevant Company specifications.
• Apply knowledge of architectural vendors products and packages normally used.
• Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, lay-out review etc.
• Work closely with Technical Safety discipline to implement fire ratings, mustering and EER provisions into the building design.
• Responsible for the technical input of architectural packages from inquiry to vendor data review.

Requirements

Requirement:

• Minimum 10 years experience in large scale EPC type offshore projects
• Good knowledge of design software such as E3D, Navisworks, Autocad and architectural design software such as Revit etc.
• Excellent knowledge of the relevant design codes for the design of offshore installations
• Excellent knowledge of Insulation and Fire sealing solutions
• Experience of MTO and weight reporting
• Experience of Fire and Blast Walls and Heavy and Medium Duty Fire Doors
• Experience of architecture engineering at different project phases from initial feasibility study, concept design, basic design to final detailed design
• Ability to manage and plan own work scope and that of assigned engineers / designers.
• Solid engineering design experience in the offshore industry
• Front End, FEED and EPC experience essential
• Yard and follow on experience preferred
• Experience of multiple office execution/workshare

The main role is to lead a team of Architects for the design, engineering and procurement of Architectural buildings associated with offshore oil and gas facilities. The candidate should be self-driven and be able to independently manage the work with minimum supervision.


Qualification & Experience

• Candidate should possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
• 10+ years experience in design, engineering and procurement of Architectural buildings associated with offshore oil and gas facilities.
• Experience should cover a range of buildings including Living Quarters, offices, technical rooms, EIT rooms and Workshop.
