We have a suitable opening in the Operations - Quality department for the role of Lead - Supplier Quality for the SAPMENA (South Asia, Pacific, Middle East, North Africa) zone, based in Mumbai.

Job responsibilities:

Packaging supplier quality

  • Improve supplier capability to ensure compliance with L'Oréal quality policies
  • Support all the plants to liaise with the suppliers to resolve chronic issues related to packaging materials
  • Coordinate with sourcing for supplier performance and scorecards on quality KPIs of suppliers
  • Support sourcing on qualification of new suppliers, including onboarding on L'Oréal quality standards and guidelines
  • Provide technical expertise and technical guidance/solutions to improve supplier capability
  • Identify risks proactively and work with suppliers to mitigate/eliminate the risks

Support new sub-contractor qualification

  • Understand L'Oréal quality requirements for sub-cons
  • Deploy L'Oréal quality policies/standards at new sub-cons
  • Support the sub-con to ensure successful implementation and start-up in compliance with L'Oréal standards/procedures

Education and qualification:

  • Degree in Science (B.Sc / M.Sc.) or Engineering
  • Past work experience at plant quality in medium/large organization
  • Has handled packaging materials quality at plant level
  • Cross-functional interaction within the plant and beyond (corporate)
  • Has worked closely with suppliers

Travel required: Need-based, to L'Oréal factories and suppliers' sites.
