• Carrying out microbiological analysis for cosmetic products (challenge-tests, microbiological cleanliness checks, identifications, etc.) in compliance with established procedures and protocols (safety, quality assurance and traceability rules).
• Handling of micro-organisms of class less than or equal to 2 in compliance with the legislation in force.
• Creation and management of strains of micro-organisms at -80°C and at 4°C.
• Computer input of analysis results (as soon as possible).
• Management of internal studies on technical subjects, with development and optimization of protocols, analysis and ex of results, writing of study reports.
• Participation in the animation and improvement of quality assurance system for the Labs.
• Participation in the training of new technicians, technical supervision of trainees, knowledge transfer and know-how.
• Active participation in the life of the laboratory: maintenance of the workstation and associated devices, management of the laboratory's equipment fleet (monitoring of maintenance, metrology, and troubleshooting), management of stocks and orders of reagents and consumables.

Requirements

SPECIFIC TECHNICAL/SCIENTIFIC SKILLS
• Mastery of basic microbiology techniques (handling under sterile conditions, cleanliness checks, counts, identifications, etc.)
• Ease of adaptation and assimilation of new knowledge and new computer tools (e.g., LIMS Microbiology, etc.).
• Rigor and sensitivity to quality and safety aspects.
• Facilitate and encourage teamwork and organization.
• Critical thinking, strength of proposals.
• Analytical and synthesis skills.
• Editorial facilities
• Autonomy

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelors or master’s in microbiology. 2-3 years of experience in microbiology and good hygiene practice in cosmetic or pharmaceuticals industry.

PS. The position will, administratively, be on third party rolls.
