Patent Executive/Patent Associate

Job description / Role

Drafting and Filing new National Phase patent applications, Analyzing office actions and preparing responses for IPO and from other jurisdictions as per requirement. Attending hearings before the IPO with examiners in other jurisdiction. Formulating strategies for preparing and handling pre and post grant oppositions before the IPO. Drafting and filing appeals and attending hearings before the Intellectual Property Appellate Board. Managing all right transfer issues such as drafting and filing of assignments deeds, patent license, etc.

Requirements

Excellent analytical skills and domain area experience, In-depth understanding of Indian patent laws and procedures, working knowledge of filing and prosecution at USPTO, EPO, JPO, etc. Strong verbal and written communication, well developed interpersonal and active listening skills responsible attitude and ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, proactive and ability work with minimal supervision
