Quality Systems Manager (Pune, India)

Stantec Middle East is looking to hire a Quality System Manager located in Pune to provide assurance of quality management practices within the Middle East business.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Technical Excellence and Innovation
• Contribute Quality Management inputs to the development of bids and delivery of projects by working collaboratively with Project Managers and technical teams
• Identify opportunities for innovation, digital transformation and automation of existing activities to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Connect globally and bring best practices by promoting global connectivity at all levels

Operational Excellence
• Prepare and implement an annual risk-based Internal Quality Management Audit Plan to test compliance with Stantec practice and identify improvement opportunities, including the requirements of Quality Management ISO 9001, Environmental Management ISO14001 and Occupational Health and Safety Management ISO 45001
• Prepare and present Quarterly Report on Audit Plan delivery
• Provide induction and training on Stantec Quality Management aspects to new joiners and existing employees (refresher training)
• Facilitate internal audits (conducted by Stantec corporate) and external audits and plan/ organize/ prepare Middle East arrangements for success

Requirements

Person Specifications and Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with direct experience of Quality Management practices
• Experience of working in a Quality Management role in an engineering/ architectural consultancy, design/ delivery project environment where project management is a core business skill.
• Demonstrable alignment with Stantec’s core values
• Passionate about success
• Strong interpersonal and teamworking people skills
• Knowledge of Stantec quality management practices would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel (occasionally) to the Middle East region
