Rolling Stock Specialist

Job description / Role

My client is a leading European rail specialist company who are currently working as the general consultant and project managers on a high speed rail project in the Delhi area. Thy are currently looking to recruit an experienced rolling stock professional for the following duties.

- Design, procure and implement rolling stock for a continuous automatize train control rail based transit system;
- Provide tender design/drawings along with specifications for related components covering aspects of efficiency and maintenance;
- Assist in providing relevant inputs during the bid process;
- Assist in testing and commissioning including final acceptance of the rolling stock based on the results of the prototype , serial and/or system test;
- Detailed interfacing with other sub components;
- Approvals of sub systems of the rolling stock such as propulsion, current collection systems, seating arrangements, passenger amenities, energy efficiency parameters, illumination, wheels profile etc

Requirements

- Candidates should have a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related subject and should have a proven background in the railway industry and in particular in the management of the rolling stock aspects.
- Candidates should have high speed rail experience and should have worked on large international projects.
