Senior Pipeline Engineer

Job description / Role

We are hiring a Senior Pipeline Engineer to lead pipeline engineering activities for oil and gas projects. The role involves the design, analysis, and management of onshore/offshore pipeline systems, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and review pipeline routes, specifications, and calculations
• Perform pipeline stress analysis, material selection, and thickness calculations
• Prepare technical documents – datasheets, drawings, reports
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and contractors
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, DNV, and other standards
• Support construction, testing, and commissioning activities
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Participate in risk assessments and safety studies

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Pipeline Engineering
• 8+ years of pipeline engineering experience in the oil & gas industry
• Proficient in CAESAR II, AutoCAD, and related tools
• Strong understanding of pipeline design codes and construction methods
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to travel to project sites when needed
