Job description / Role
Job Description:- SQL Database Admin.
* Responsible for providing support and Design of SQL Infrastructure.
* Provide continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, historical and real-time performance monitoring of the MS SQL Server environments.
* Primarily role is supporting and designing the production and development SQL 2008/2008R2/2012/2014/2016.
* Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL and Window Cluster and Always On.
* Good Experience for Database Upgradation and Migration to the latest SQL version.
* Good experience in implementation of Replication, Log shipping, Clustering, Mirroring and Always On.
* Good Experience to handle the Window Failover Cluster and Always on availability group.
* Execution of backup/recovery procedures.
* Creation and Maintenance of Database Instances.
* Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO).
* Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
* Experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
* Configure and support of MS SQL Server, including defining requirements for daily monitoring, advanced tier troubleshooting and ongoing performance analysis.
* Experience in creating and designing the production and DR Environment with SQL Technology.
* Designing and Documenting MS SQL Server logical and physical design.
* Ensure 100% SLA compliance.
* Perform weekly, and monthly database maintenance tasks.
* Experience to handle SQL Server Database Patching.
* Experience to implement the encryption in SQL server.
* Knowledge and Experience in MYSQL will be an advantage.
