Employment: Full Time

Our client is a European construction management firm who are embarking on an impressive portfolio of major Data Centre construction projects across Asia, with the first two in Mumbai in 2021 and Chennai in 2022. These data centres are typically 30-60MW and are built to the latest technology, especially on environmental and sustainable methods, such as advanced water cooling. Projects are generally steel framed, with highly complex mechanical and electrical technical services. Projects are fast track programs and built at speed.

Our client works collaboratively with their client, in a partnering arrangement, on a construction management contract. As Technical Services Manager, you are ultimately responsible for leading Mechanical, Electrical and Process on the project. You will lead a high calibre team of MEP staff to deliver the building services engineering design/installation process, and to minimise risks associated with this to the project and to the company, on pre-construction and construction phases of this project, working with the client and the European based Managing Director to ensure the project is 100% successful.

Salary:
USD 5,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

You will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
• Available within the next few months - the land for the data centre in Mumbai has become available earlier than expected and the Project Controls Manager needs to be involved as soon as possible.
• Stable career history with a major tier one construction organisation in India or the Middle East or similar
• Clear evidence of successfully delivering on time and in budget complex building projects as Building Services / MEP lead
• Data Centre or other hi-tech construction experience – must have High Voltage and/or switching experience
• Degree qualified in an engineering or similar discipline.
• Experienced of working in a multi-cultural organisation.
• Proactive, strong communicator, flexible and adaptable
