Tendering Manager | EPC Solar Projects

Job description / Role

Company - Multi-Billion BSE/NSE Listed International EPC Company
JOB Role - Tender & Estimation

- The candidate should be aware of the Tendering process
- Analyzing the tender requirement to check the Pre-qualification requirement
- Identifying JV partner if PQ not met
- Submitting Pre-Qualification docs
- Preparing Tender synopsis including Technical & Commercial aspects
- Preparing Tender discussion note including all the important Contractual Clauses
- Identifying associated Risk & mitigation plan
- Conducting a Kick off meeting with internal stakeholders(Engineering,Legal,contracts,insurance,Logistics,Finance,Commercial etc)
- Arranging Site Visit
- Sending RFQs(Enquiries) to vendors including complete Technical & commercial requirement
- Providing necessary clarifications to vendors
- Arranging Bid Bond, insurance, Finance cost,Logistic,BG charges
- Validating the offers & ensuring completeness
- Preparing cost sheet & estimated cost
- Preparing the necessary submittal documents
- Submittal of the Tender document

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Around 10 to 20 Years of professional experience in a similar position or experience in the Solar Renewables Segment.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of Solar Renewables offerings including Electrical Balance of Plant for Solar Plants starting from output of PV cell to Grid Connection.
- Knowledge of PV Syst Calculations
- Latest Module Technology
- Knowledge of String and Central Inverters Configuration
- Cable Sizing and Calculations
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Willingness to frequent business trips. Self-reliance; reliability and creativity.
- Problem-solving and goal-oriented. Strong communication skills to influence and challenge bid team members and even senior personnel where necessary, and facilitate and negotiate with multiple, geographically dispersed, internal stakeholders.
