Traction Power Expert

Job description / Role

My client is a leading rail specialist engineering company who are currently working as general consultants on a new high speed rapid transit systems in the Delhi Area. they re currently looking to recruit and experience traction power expert who will also be responsible for air conditioning and tunnel ventilation. The role will include the following;

- Design, procurement and installation of high voltage substations;
- Design, procurement and implementation of auxiliary power distribution, traction system and return current system, earthing system and elevated and underground sections including the depot;
- Design, procurement and implementation of low voltage power distribution including fire detection systems, mechanical works and hvac;
- Design, procurement, and implementation of lighting and solar system;
- Design, procurement and implementation of ventilation systems for tunnels, underground stations.
- Design, procurement, and implementation of lifts for stations

Requirements

- Candidates should have a degree in electrical engineering, power engineering or a related subject and should have proven experience of working in high speed rail projects.
- Candidates should have experience of traction power, low voltage systems, tunnel ventilation, air conditioning etc and should have worked on large international projects.
