Job description / Role
• Over-arching responsibility is to deliver sharia products to support the company growth aspiration.
• Working with Product Implementation Team to ensure the sharia product implementation can deliver well. This includes sharia product management of all current products (in addition to the development and marketing of new sharia products).
• Manage the sharia product calendar and prioritization for the whole company. And, to ensure the timely implementation of sharia products. Actively support and participate in discussions and negotiations on sharia product with internal channel managers and external parties.
• To develop attractive Sharia products for agency and non-agency channels. This includes conducting market intelligent function to provide regular update on competitor products and activities, and bench-marking of the company sharia products against a basket of competitors in order to identify gaps within the existing product range.
• To monitor the performance of newly launched sharia products.
• Actively involved in Sharia Product Committee
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Actuarial/Mathematics/Statistic/Economics/Business, has an actuarial background or ever been working in product development area is more favorable.
• Min. 10 years of experience in Life Insurance or Sharia Life Insurance industry, preferably had exposure in Actuary/Product Development area.
• Having comprehensive knowledge in Sharia Life Insurance products.
• Having knowledge in Business Operation process (underwriting, administration, marketing, etc.)
• Management knowledge to manage the team member.
• Fluent English in written and verbal.
