Sales Manager

Job description / Role

A prominent FMCG business is currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager to add value to the business’ growth activities and lead their Sales team in Yemen.

With the goal of promoting the company’s commercial activity and generating revenues, it is expected of the Sales Manager to deliver in the following responsibilities:
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Study the Yemeni market and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of successful sales management experience within a consumer goods company, preferably handling the ambient goods sector
- In-depth knowledge of the Yemeni consumer goods market
- A degree in Business Management or equivalent
- Above par leadership and negotiation skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Strong leadership skills
