Job description / Role
Reporting to the Senior Executive Vice President of the Group. The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for providing strategic direction and ensuring the profitability of the Security business unit. This would include the achievement of operational and financial growth of the business, human resources management as well as sales, marketing and business development.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience at senior management level, preferably in the Manned Security Industry.
• University Degree with 10 years of Military / Police service or 15 years of Military / Police service.
• Good knowledge of security industry
• Excellent interpersonal, organization and analytical skills.
• Strong business savvy, leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal).
• Native English speaker.
• Capable of working effectively and productively with team members from diverse cultural environments.
About the Company
AUIB is an American-style, nonprofit university located next to the Baghdad International Airport in Baghdad. This large-scale, multi-million dollar project is funded by Iraqi and U.S. donors, both public and private. The university opens for students on Jan. 17, 2021, with the College of Arts & Sciences, College of International Studies, and the College of Business. Eventually, there will be 10 colleges at the university, including a College of Medicine.
