Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Develop Corrosion Engineering Strategies and Procedures for all assets in compliance with industrial standards;
• Develop Maintenance Programs, including the involvement into shutdown campaigns for corrosion engineering systems to ensure technical integrity, safety, reliability and the maximum availability of assets;
• Develop assets reliability improvement projects; recommendations to upgrade structures to enhance technical integrity of assets if required;
• Develop and implement asset-based corrosion control system;
• Provide corrosion control advice to operations and maintenance/project engineering staff if required;
• Perform Risk Based Inspection (RBI) re-assessments, corrosion loops analysis, corrosion monitoring activities, predicting and calculating corrosion rates;
• Perform troubleshooting/inspection to identify the root causes of failures and develop corrective maintenance plans;
• Generate of routine requests in SAP.

Requirements

General requirements:
• English language – Upper-Intermediate level of English (written / spoken).
• Occupational work experience - not less than 15 years corrosion, inspection and materials experience.
• User for PEMS (Pressure Equipment Management System), PIMS (Pipeline Inspection Management System), MS Office, SAP

Education (higher):
Bachelor degree in Materials & Corrosion Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

Special expertise and skills:
• Extensive knowledge of materials degradation phenomena, material properties, nondestructive testing (NDT), design codes and manufacturing processes;
• Extensive knowledge of corrosion mechanisms and mitigation measures and techniques, material properties, anodic/cathodic protection systems, coating and painting repairs, fracture mechanisms, API 571, 941, 939C, 932B, 970, 934, 584 and NACE standards;
• Good knowledge of corrosion monitoring devices (e.g., hydrogen probes, electric resistance (ER) probes and linear polarization (LP) measurements, as well as permanently mounted UT sensors);
• Good knowledge of production chemicals and understanding the interrelationship of process chemistry and materials of construction and how it impacts damage mechanisms for all types of process units;
• Knowledge of NDT techniques and capabilities of different technologies and their applications relative to equipment/pipeline inspection;
• Knowledge and practical experience in preparation of Technical Specifications and Scope of Work (procurement and services) as part of Contracting & Procurement Process;
• Knowledge in HSE management.

Work experience:
Minimum of 10 (ten) years oil and gas corrosion, inspection and materials experience within H2S and CO2 content
