Job description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused driver to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers or goods to various destinations within the city and surrounding areas. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Transport passengers or goods to designated locations in a timely manner
• Plan and optimize routes using GPS and navigation tools, considering traffic patterns and road conditions
• Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate department
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods when necessary
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns
• Accurately complete all required paperwork, including trip logs and vehicle inspection reports
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Adapt to changing schedules and route assignments as needed
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Baghdad's streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns
• Follow all company policies and procedures, prioritizing safety at all times

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of Baghdad's streets, traffic patterns, and local regulations
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English and Arabic
• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills
• Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and assist with loading/unloading
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
