The role
The MAE will be a key contributor to the ESP Squad service delivery by effective management of Ops ESP inventory, materials, and coordination with contractor resources.
Reporting to the ESP Ops Manager, this role will allow the ESP Squad to provide continual operational support and ensure project and operational demands are met.
Key accountabilities
- Lead by example with a strong commitment to HSE and integrity.
- Engage in the Ops ESP equipment and parts delivery process.
- Carry out physical inventory audits at contractor bases, RSB as required.
- Carry out quality inspection audits on physical materials, reception processes, storage facilities, etc.
- Verify parts delivery and contractual compliance of supplied materials.
- Attend scheduling meetings and align inventory allocation with the WO schedule.
- Ensure materials availability and forecasting.
- Generate required documentation for contractor equipment, ROO, and BOC.
- Verify supporting documentation for invoices and sign DNs.
- Actively participate in ESP Squad projects, supporting the SPAs as required.
- Generate spares and materials reporting as requested.
- Follow warranty process and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Relevant O&G & ESP industry experience, to include ESP operations.
- Experience with materials management and resource planning.
- Know-how of planning and scheduling processes.
- Competent user of CMMS system.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, generators & variable speed drives (VSD) desired.
- Full communication in English (speech, reading, and writing).
- Excellent skills in interpersonal relations and communication.
- Demonstrated strong decision making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Diligent and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, Excel, and bespoke in-house software packages.
Degree level qualification, or equivalent experience (5+ years), required.
