Summary
KBR is seeking an experienced field planner, responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, progress measurement, reporting, and for completion of the project within approved contractual timelines and cost.
Responsibilities
- Proficiency in using Primavera P6 and Excel.
- Ability to support in preparation of project controls plan, planning procedure, or any other project planning procedure as required.
- Ability to prepare project schedules, bar charts, histograms, pie charts, PMS, and all other documents as required for execution of projects based on the contract terms and conditions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of engineering logic for concept study, FEED, and detailed engineering phases.
- Understanding of EPC programs, ability to prepare baseline programs, planning packages, etc.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contracts.
- Understanding of productivity norms.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Works closely with immediate associates and liaises with project managers and other senior staff in the division.
- Monitoring and reporting of project status (weekly, monthly, or any other reports as required).
- Ability to prepare and maintain risk registers, understanding of risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience, with at least 3 years on EPC project(s).
- 2-3 years' experience in engineering projects desired.
- Good command in English (written, verbal, and writing).
- Expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Office is a must.
