Job description

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Guest Laundry Attendant to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Guest Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have clean, fresh linens and clothing during their stay. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can provide exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

• Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and folding machines
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold guest laundry according to specific instructions and hotel standards
• Ensure proper handling of delicate fabrics and special care items
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
• Track and record guest laundry orders using our computerized system
• Deliver clean laundry to guest rooms in a timely manner
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services or hospitality is a plus
• Proficiency in operating various laundry equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific care instructions
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills for tracking and recording orders
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Friendly and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
