Job Description

Kinetic has partnered with a leading pharmaceutical company who are hiring a HR manager to be based in Iraq.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Analyze, develop, and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee all HR strategy and activities and ensure the proper implementation of HR-related policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for talent attraction, talent management, employee development, compensation and benefits, and personnel-related affairs across the company as well as enhancing the company's overall human resources practices.
  • Drive appropriate learning and development initiatives as well as succession planning.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Implement performance appraisal systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

  • Only candidates currently based in Iraq will be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or similar. Master's degree or HR certifications are an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in different HR activities.
  • Proven experience as an HR manager within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with employee relations, talent acquisition, and performance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance.
  • Knowledge of HR software such as SAP, ESAT, HRMS or HRIS, or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
