Job description / Role

Employment: Contract

This job is comprised of on-site inspection of lift equipment (Lifting equipment inspection, lifting gears inspection, lifting equipment maintenance & Lifting operation supervision) as per height safety Standard using a checklist and provincial occupational health and safety requirements. These inspections are performed using various testing techniques including non-destructive including visual, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic and Brinell hardness testing of materials…etc. This position has a key focus on customer service and preparation of field inspection reports.

• Responsibilities include record keeping, all documents such as specification procedures, Training schedule and records, surveillance report, Training release notice and quality records book with numbering system according to project filing procedure. Handling of all engineering documents.
• Controlling all records and documents.
• Ensure that all controlled Quality documents related to the Project are maintained to the latest issue, and that these documents are made available when requested where operations essential to the effective functioning of the Quality Management System are performed.
• Well aware of all types of quality documents like ITP, Checklist, RFI, method statements, Non-conformance report, technical queries, Inspection assignment package, Disposition Report, Material Request, Technical Approval Request and other project contract documents.
• Formatting may include correcting templates, fonts and style, pagination and numbering and other activities that may be required to achieve a client’s documentation requirements.
• Create Document Control and correspondence folders for individual projects.
• Ensure all templates used with the department conform to the Company standard

Requirements

Skill & Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree. (Or equivalent)
• Professional computer skills especially with MC. office programs.
• Proficient typing and editing skills
• Excellent English language.
• Strong verbal and communications skills.
• Acknowledge with BSI and LEEA regulation and all international standers
• Time management.
• Assist in Technical evaluation and answering tender questions.
• Internal auditor, Writing and reviewing company policies, HSE awareness, QC/QA awareness & Submitting technical documents for review and approval.
• Daily / Monthly / Defect report and submit to the client.
• Highly organizing and archiving skills.
• EMI (Drill pipe inspection) awareness
• LEEA Qualified
• ASNT Qualified / minimum LEVEL II MT, PT, UT, RT
• NSL / ILEEB Qualified
• Environmental awareness.
• Level in Lifting operation awareness and Lifting Supervisor.
• Working at height awareness
• TOT (training of trainers).
• HAS qualified and awareness
