Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are currently working on behalf of one of the largest regional Beverage & Drinks manufacturers in the Middle East with a brand new factory in Iraq.

The client have a thorough and consolidated idea on the exact profile fit of the successful candidate for this niche role.

The successful candidate will fully meet the criteria of having directly come from a Drinks & Beverages background as an influential, and highly competent Maintenance Manager with previous managerial experience for at least a medium sized team.

The role will include but not limit to the following duties;

- Refines work plans and supervises discipline-specific maintenance activities and also maintenance crews.
- Devising work plans and strategies and provides expert technical advice to solve complex problems.
- Handling maintenance programs and costs and also Implements maintenance programmes for plant, equipment and systems.
- Reviews effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvement or modification
- Developing pillar strategy to achieve optimum excellence
- Developing the budget requirement for the maintenance program
- Reporting and preparing detailed reports and presentation for senior management
- Technical support services liaison
- Implementing Equipment repair systems following pre-analysis
- Monitoring accident incident rate and reporting accordingly
- Performance management by undertaking appraisals to assess staff performance and progression.
- Training, development and mentoring to ensure staff are fully equipped and motivated.

This role is tailored for an individual who is able to remain organised and pragmatic under pressure, and thus it is essential the applicant has the necessary relevance of experience and exposure to the responsibilities as per the aforementioned. At least 2-5 years of experience in the soft drink industry is required, with at least 3 in a senior position.

Requirements

The successful candidate will also meet the following additional requirements instructed by our client;

- Has worked in Iraq for a soft drinks or beverage company (essential)
- Strong communication skills and an awareness
- Solid organisational and planning skills
- An influential person who maintains professionalism
- Analytical problem solver
