Job description / Role
Experience in Oracle Enterprise Relational Database Management Systems and Oracle WebLogic application server, including experience ranging from providing AWR reporting, understanding database scaling, backup and recovery, database migration, installation and configuration, performance tuning of application and database for Oracle Utilities applications. Below are the tasks for database system administration that we are looking for in the candidate.
-Maintains all databases required for development, testing, training, disaster recovery and production usage
-Administer all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures
-Create SQL queries to generate reports
-Ability to collect multiple reports from different sources and consolidate
-Identify gaps in current reports and create new reports that give better value add
-Excellent communication both written and verbal and able to present recommendations to management
-Excellent team player
-Support the implementation of solution in all phases of the project
-Be a key player in system support team
-Ensure system availability at all times
-In-depth technical knowledge of implemented systems
-Able to do Technical Documentations
-Able to log Service Request with Oracle via my oracle support
-Should have good troubleshooting skills
-Give post Go-Live support to end users in daily operations related to system services availability
-Bachelor’s Degree in Computing
-Oracle Database and Weblogic certification is preferred
-Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
-Oracle Utilities application management skills set is preferred
-Familiar with thin client applications management.
-Proficient in working with Toad, SQL Developer
-Proficiency in spoken and written Kurdish and English
-4+ years of experience in database and application management.
-Working experience as application and database administrator for mission critical business applications.
-Should possess Customer handling skills
