Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Objectives:
To direct all project control activities on assigned projects to ensure client satisfaction is achieved, contractual conditions are met, and the work is controlled and reported in relation to the project’s budget and schedule in accordance with corporate policies.

Responsibilities and duties:
* Supervise and control the office engineering functions or planning, production control, cost control & materials.
* Monitor, identify and analyze all projects costs with a view o facilitating the completion of the project at minimum cost and within budget limits.
* Monitor and analyze all the progress of the construction activities, identify any variances between the planned and actual progress and advise project management of their impact on the overall program. Also suggest remedial action as necessary.
* Supervise the compilation of routine progress and other informative data that are then forwarded to managing office for their reference and potential use.
* Provide overall supervision to his subordinate engineers carrying out the functions of planning, production control and cost control, and is directly responsible for their efficient performance.
* Monitor all change orders to the contract to ensure that all additions and deletions are incorporated in revisions of the construction method statement and overall program of the works.
* Supervise the preparation of the monthly cost report which shows all direct and indirect project costs against the budget.
* Committed to HSE requirements and all applicable legislation and contractual requirements affecting the HSE activities at project site and administrative offices.

Requirements

* Bachelor of Science in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
* Professional membership of one or more of the recognized Professional Institutions such as CIOB, RICS, CICES, CI Arb
* 8 years experience, of which minimum 4 years as Project Control Manager.

Person Requirements:
* Ability to communicates fluently in English
* Arabic is desirable
* AutoCAD
* Computer literate to a basic/advance level
