What you will do
The Sales Engineer is a key role, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager responsible for indirect channels across Middle East region. You will be based in Bagdad, Iraq and work with the DX team that focus on the Johnson Controls Hitachi - DX Product portfolio (RAC, PAC & VRF) to secure orders and achieve business objectives. You will develop long term relationships with consultants, developers and end users to promote the sales of DX Products. You will prepare and deliver high-quality technical presentations, live product demonstrations to consultants, developers, end user and recommend viable solutions for their project requirements. You will be primarily focused on existing distributor's channels by developing plans to increase their sales volume and revenue and open new accounts. You will be also supporting the distributors on presales activities and submittals to develop and drive sales revenue.

As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to deliver our business objectives in Iraq.

How you will do it
* As the Sales Engineer you will gather market information (market prices, volume, growth, competitor actions etc.) and propose a growth action plan for each channel in the territory.
* You will in the field finding new channels, visiting and developing existing channels, training our distributors, building relationships and supporting their marketing activities.
* You'll be technically adept supporting our distributors with technical equipment selections and visit consultants and contractors to present our product range to ensure we are providing competitive technical solutions, using a pull strategy to grow our market share.
* You will generate new channel accounts and to achieve your sales target by converting inquiries in sales, follow up with channel partners on the quotations, place orders on system and follow-up on delivery of equipment.
* You are a hunter driven to seek and develop strong customer relationships, self-motivated enjoying the challenge of working independently to drive your territory growth.
* You're naturally perseverance, tenacious and consistent in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning, organization and time management skills.

Requirements

What we look for
Required?
* Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 5 years of experience in sales in DX (RAC, PAC & VRF) products in Iraq
* Proven experience of managing and setting up new channels and distributors in Iraq
* Proficiency in developing and delivering new business and market growth
* Willing & able to travel frequently to the territory
* Experience working in a global team environment and communicating effectively across multiple cultures?
* Experience working remotely (the team is scattered across Middle East region)
* Mature, pro-active, go-getter, self-starter, autonomous personality
* Fluent language skills in English
