Job Description:

Field Security Operations Coordinator Security - IRAQ
The Field Security Operations Coordinator has a direct-line report to the Country Corporate Security Manager. Primarily responsible for managing and auditing third-party security providers as well as coordinating dynamic operations, the FSOC is an integral part of the Halliburton-Iraq security operation.

Critical Skills:

• High standard of English & Arabic - written and oral
• Relevant military or police training with emphasis on operational planning and communication skills
• Strong IT skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience of managing multi-faceted operations
• Ability to perform complex tasks under pressure
• Excellent Interpersonal and analytical skills

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Country Security Manager on all security related issues and developments.
• Implement and manage company security policies and procedures in line with current contracts.
• Forward planning and development for all security aspects including mobile, static and physical security measures of Halliburton Iraq operations in line with Company plans and procedures.
• Quality control and maintenance of approved standards via regular audits of all contracted security service providers.
• Cascade all operational / security information to Halliburton personnel and contractors.
• Be prepared to state policy where necessary to support mode of operation and safe guard Halliburton's assets and reputation.
• Identify areas for policy and procedure change to the Halliburton Country Security Manager.
• Implement and co-ordinate current and additional security measures and personnel as per company requirements during the development of operations.
• Liaison with Private Security Company (PSC) subcontractors, with regards to the contract.
• Support the Crisis Management Team (CMT) in any emergency as required.
• Implementation of security procedures and policy laid out in the SOPs.
• Observe atmospherics and trend analysis within the country.
• Ensure all operations adhere to Halliburton / Client security policies and procedures.
• Liaison with internal departments and external agencies if required.
• Maintain and develop inter departmental relationships.
• Other duties as directed by the Country Security Manager.

• Live and operate within a base camp location on a rotational deployment basis (5/5WK)
• Conduct field visits on a regular basis while in-country
