Well Logging Supervisor

Job description / Role

Purpose: Oversee well logging, perforating, and slickline operations to ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor well logging, perforation, production logging, and slickline operations.
• Ensure equipment is inspected, tested, and oversee rig-up procedures.
• Ensure data quality and report discrepancies promptly.
• Supervise documentation and timely submission of daily reports.
• Coordinate with service contractors to resolve operational issues and submit recommendations.
• Ensure proper equipment checks and manage materials for uninterrupted operations.
• Enforce HSE standards and halt unsafe work, reporting safety concerns.

Qualifications:
• Education: Degree in Geology or related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years in the oil industry, with 2+ years as a Wireline Field Engineer.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of well logging, wireline, perforation, and production logging.

Certifications:
• H2S Training Certificate.

Languages:
• Fluent in English (upper-intermediate), Russian is a plus.

Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related office software.

Authority & Responsibility:
• Oversee orders for logging services and manage necessary resources for wellsite operations. Ensure safe, timely execution of operations.
