Workover and Completion Supervisor

Job description / Role

Role Overview: Oversee on-site workover and completion operations, ensuring compliance with programs, company policies, HSE standards, and best practices while optimizing time and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with approved workover programs and minimize non-productive time.
• Monitor third-party contractors’ HSE performance and enforce corrective actions.
• Supervise all workover, rig, and rigless operations for safe execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, conduct daily meetings, and optimize well completion processes.
• Oversee material consumption, equipment usage, and provide training for contractors.
• Implement HSE policies, facilitate incident investigations, and lead safety meetings.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and incident reports, maintain well materials inventory, and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications:
• Education: Degree in Drilling, Petroleum, Mining, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 5+ years in high-pressure, high-H2S wells, including 2 years in international projects (South Iraq preferred).
• Expertise: Horizontal and deviated wells, cementing, stimulation, artificial lift installation.

Skills:
• Proficient in well control, completion installation, HSE practices, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of workover operations and well-completion equipment.

Certifications:
• IWCF/IADC Well Control, HSE certifications (H2S, First Aid, Rig Pass).
