Saw Operator

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Saw Operator to join our team in Ireland. The Saw Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining saw equipment to cut, shape, and trim marbles,granite,tiles according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities:
- Operate saw equipment to cut, shape, and trim materials such as marbles,granite,tiles according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine cutting requirements
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before and after cutting
- Adjust saw equipment settings to ensure precise cuts and minimize material waste
- Maintain and clean saw equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating saw equipment

- Proven experience as a saw operator or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition and stamina to handle the demands of operating saw equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for operating saw equipment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Salary:
EUR 2,358 to 3,144 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
