HSE Engineer - Infrastructure Project

Job description / Role

Guildhall is working with an international engineering company who have projects right across Africa and are vital to the development of the infrastructure of the continent.

We are assisting them on a new project which requires a Health and Safety Engineer to lead the HSE function of this 3-year project.

Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for all aspects related to Project HSE.
- Preparation of Project specific safety plan, Inspections & related procedures
- Daily site inspection & Periodical offsite inspection & Controlling all Inspection activities at the site.
- Completion of the necessary documentation to verify the work performed & ensuring that inspection requests are implemented.
- Ensuring that all test reports are verified to meet the contract requirements Issue & administer Non-Conformance Reports as necessary& ensure follow up.

Salary:
USD 4,500 to 5,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

In order to be considered for this position candidates should have the following skills and experience
- Engineering degree
- 5+ years HSE experience
- Infrastructure experience such as roads, bridges, ports, marine works etc
- Available to relocate within 30 days
