Job description / Role
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate construction schedules with staff to ensure items of work are inspected according to WisDOT specifications.
• Communicating directly with clients to develop business opportunities as well as maintain typical working relationships for the duration of projects.
• Work will consist of business development, contract negotiation, construction administration, project oversight of WisDOT projects. Team leadership
• Mentoring staff

Requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• P.E. license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain within one year of hire
• Past proven WisDOT Project Leader experience
• Proven team leadership
• Ability to win and lead future WisDOT North East Region construction projects
• Familiarity with WisDOT: FDM, Standard Specifications, Field Manager, Pantry, and construction practices
Preferred Qualifications:
• GPS and Survey equipment knowledge
• Familiarity with Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with municipal, county, and non-WisDOT construction projects
• Familiarity with roadway, structure, and design experience
• The ability to obtain WisDOT material certifications
