Job description / Role
Providing project engineering management (PMC) services to petroleum refineries.
PMC work includes front end engineering design review, detailed design review, coordination meeting attendance and shop inspection witness
Review work includes reactors, distillation columns, distillation column internals, drums, shell and tube heat exchangers, other type of heat exchangers, cartridge filters, spherical tanks, atmospheric cone roof tanks, etc.
Key Responsibilities
Chemical plant engineering review work including but not limited to the following;
Review of contract documents
Review of technical specifications, requisitions, mechanical datasheets, technical clarifications, technical bid evaluation reports
Review of detailed design documents and drawings
Attendance to meetings among contractors, equipment suppliers together with clients or on behalf of clients
Occasional visit to supplier’s shop for coordination meeting and witness inspection together with clients or on behalf of client.
Requirements
More than fifteen (15) years of engineering experience related to pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks including the following;
Experience in companies providing engineering services to petroleum refineries
Experience must cover the area of conceptual engineering, front end engineering design, detailed design and consultation
Handling of reactors, distillation columns, distillation column internals, drums, shell and tube heat exchangers, other type of heat exchangers, cartridge filters, spherical tanks, atmospheric cone roof tanks, etc.
